POEMS
If I was to forgive you,
Could we be friends
Would you accept my forgiveness
As a gift, to make things right again,
It`s so long ago now
I can`t think what you said,
Or was it something that you did,
Did it happen at all, I only know I feel pain.
Can we ask Spirit to witness
As we make a pact,
To exchange each others forgiveness
And never to look back,
And we`ll watch as the Angels
Bring us gifts of light
Taking shutters from our eyes
Giving back our sight,
And when we look at each other,
Without feeling pain
We`ll know that we`re ready
To be friends again.
